The BEST WESTERN Quid Hotel Trento is part of the new interporto business center near the Trento North Exit. The structure represents environmentally friendly, sustainable hospitality. The project was conceived and developed as a result of a careful study of the geographical and environmental characteristics of the territory.
The BEST WESTERN Quid Hotel is a design in which technological and architectural qualities are combined to create an energy saving structure with low environmental impact. The use of centralized systems contain of energy consumption during both summer and winter. The property is also equipped with heat recovery air-handling systems to continue renewal of the mechanical air environment. A photovoltaic system feeds the electricity utilities in the building and a tank for collecting rain water meets the water needs for irrigation and domestic uses. This sytem also dramatically lowers the need for additional provision of drinking water.
BEST WESTERN Quid Hotel design is at the forefront of the evolution of sustainable construction: - There is zero use of any synthetic insulation. - Doors and surfaces are transparent and constructed from low-energy composits. - Materials used throughout allow the reduction of indoor pollution and noise. - The floors and partition walls are highly sound-proofed. - Selected membranes are sealed to reduce air pollution.
BEST WESTERN Quid Hotel has managed to combine ecology, sustainability, technology, functionality and comfort, creating a new concept of hospitality.
